Family Fun Day

Innerleithen Family Fun Day held on Sunday 2 June in Victoria Park from 1.00-5.00pm with lots for all ages.  Organisers have arranged a whole host of attractions and stalls, including roundabouts and inflatables, pony rides, face painting, sports, balloon race, cake & candy, books, CDs and bric-a-brac as well as raffles and tombola.  Entry is free  There will be a cricket match on the Vale Park starting at 10.00am with sports taster-sessions throughout the day, including ClubGolf and tennis.  A junior tug-o-war will be organised to take place at 1.30pm.  Ice cream and burgers will be on sale and a beer tent provided.  Live music will be provided by the Silver Band, Pipe Band and Future Band.  Various community groups will also be in attendance.  A car boot sale will also take place in the small car park, to book a place, or to make any other enquiry, please ring 01896 831721.

Ball Tickets

A limited number of Standard Bearer's Ball tickets are still available.  The Ball takes place on Saturday 13 July and tickets are £30 per person. Pipe Band Coffee Morning

Innerleithen Pipe Band will hold a coffee morning on Saturday 8 June in Vale of Leithen Social Club from 10.00am to 12 noon.

Games Committee

The next meeting of St. Ronan’s Border Games committee will take place on Wednesday 5 June at 7.00pm in the Council Chamber, Memorial Hall, Leithen Road.

Duck Race

St. Ronan’s Silver Band will hold a Duck Race on Tuesday 4 June from Cuddy Brig to the top of the Batty at 6.30pm.  There is a first prize of £100 plus varuous other prizes.  Ducks can be purchased from the Thrift Shop, from any band member or at the Family Fun Day on Sunday 2 June.
