Innerleithen Pipe Band’s objectives are to advance the education of the public in the art of bagpipe playing and drumming by the presentation of public performances and other related ideas. Innerleithen Pipe Band is a recognized as a Scottish Charity (Number SCO32804)

How to join
The Band is keen for new members to join. Simply turn up at one of the Band’s regular practices, contact one of those named above or see the bands website for more information.
Important dates
- Band AGM – first six weeks of the year (usually in January)
- Fund-raising Pipe-a-Thon – annual event held in March
- Fund-raising Coffee Morning – annual event held in May/June
Main Activities
- Innerleithen Pipe Band runs regular rehearsals for members to practice piping and drumming skills.
- The Band plays in public throughout the summer months at local fesytivals and gala days, most notably St. Ronan’s Border Games Week, Walkerburn Summer Festival and Peebles Beltane Festival
- The Band also plays in pipe band competitions as part of Tweedvale Pipe Band

Other information
- The Band is available for hire for public and private engagements. Fees are negotiable and dependant on factors such as playing time, travel, etc. Please direct enquiries to the Band Secretary in the first instance.
- The Band offers tuition in the skills of bagpipe playing and drumming. We are keen to encourage new learners – young and old.
