In 2012 Innerleithen welcomes the return of the iXS European Downhill Event running from the 14th - 16th June. The event is biggest downhill race series in Europe outside of the World Cup series. It promises some of the best riders in the world testing themselves over the one off course. In addition to the the main racing the event is hosting a film night on Thursday 14th June, a launch party on the 15th June and a dual slalom on the evening of the 16th June.
