“Consider Yourself” invited

“Consider Yourself” invited to Innerleithen’s Memorial Hall next month for the Innerleithen & District AOS production of Lionel Bart’s musical, Oliver!

 

The show opens on Monday 28 March, playing nightly at 7.30pm, with a Saturday Matinee performance on 2 April at 2.15pm.

 

Come along and meet some of Charles Dickens’ wonderful characters, including the scheming Fagin (Dougie Russell), the charming Nancy (Pam Millan) and the menacing Bill Sykes (Colin Tweedie).  The show, bursting with hit after hit, features a cast of seventy, including thirty children, who are sure to steal the show!  Sharing the part of Oliver! are Elliot Brydon and Ben Roper, while the Artful Dodger will be played on alternate nights by Thomas Brydon and Ewan Little.

Community Council Meeting

Innerleithen and District Community Council will hold its monthly meeting on Monday 1 June in the Council Chamber, Leithen Road at 7.15pm.
The first item on the agenda will be the ‘open forum’ where residents are invited to raise local issues.

School Fair

St. Ronan's Primary School will hold a summer fair at the school on Thursday 28 May from 6.00-8.00pm. There will be a huge variety of stalls and activities on offer. There will be bouncy castles, luck dips, ice cream, cake and candy, police car, plants, games, barbecue, teas and coffee, netball shoot, splat the rat, music from the Silver Band, archery and lots more. All welcome.
