Welcome to Innerleithen the eighth largest settlement in the Scottish Borders.

The Innerleithen Online web site has been created by Innerleithen and District Community Council to provide information about this beautiful area of southern Scotland.

This area lies within the Tweed Valley and is an excellent leisure centre for golf, fishing, mountain biking and walking. The Southern Upland Way is also within easy reach.

There is a busy events calendar throughout the year which includes musical events, festivals and sporting pursuits, so there are lots to see and do. We also have an amazing array of local organisations which cater for a wide variety of interests and who welcome new members.

The B709 coming from Heriot in the north (14 miles) via Leithen Valley also passes through the town before proceeding south via Traquair to Yarrow Valley and St. Mary's (15 miles).
