Memorials

  • Innerleithen War Memorial
    Map
    ​The Innerleithen War Memorial is located just outside the Memorial Hall on Leithen Road. The Memorial Hall was built in 1922, in memory of the fallen of World War I, while the War Memorial lists the names of those lost in World War II. The sculpted garden between the War Memorial and the Memorial Hall is a representation of the Leithen Valley, with stone replicas of Lee Pen and Pirn Hill as well as a miniature Cuddy Brig and Leithen Water.

    ​The Traquair War Memorial is a stone cross listing the names of those lost in World War II, located in Traquair at the turn-off to Cardrona.
