Community events take place at several key venues throughout Innerleithen and the surrounding area, while other centres serve as venues for the delivery of important community services.

Innerleithen

  • Memorial Hall

    ​The largest public auditorium in Tweeddale hosts a range of entertainment productions, as well as providing a venue for community services such as flu vaccinations.
  • Library Contact Centre

    ​Closed throughout 2020 and 2021 due to lockdowns and a period of refurbishment, the library contact centre will reopen in 2022. In addition to the lending of books and provision of public computers, the centre is a contact point for Scottish Borders Council services.
  • St. Ronan's Primary School

    As well as providing education to primary school students during term time, St. Ronan's occasionally serves as a hub for adult and community education after hours.

Traquair

  • Traquair Village Hall

    ​Hosts regular community events (yoga, meditation, dance) as well as occasional public events and private hire events.

The Glen
